Overall i think this Module has been very interesting. I am now aware of many topics such as masterbation, body modification etc. Before i even started this course i had no idea what masterbation was, however, now that i have studied it i am fully aware of what it is. Also knowing about different types of behaviours is very interesting.
This course was very interesting and i have enjoyed myself throughout. I just hope i achieve the grade i am aiming for!!

Why do people attempt to kill themselves .. Oh no it is Commit Suicide!!

Why do people commit suicide hmmm????!! From this website it has been researched and these are people's answers to this question: http://allphilosophy.com/topic/189 "Many people try to kill themselve's because of the problems they have and maybe there life just gets worser and so they cannot live with it! for everyone knows it is not a game and neither does anyone really want to end their life like that just like everyone they want to live! but there are many reasons for why they may want to do this and commiting suicide may come from ideas or from starting cutting yourself and harming yourslef in such ways from being upset and abused by others and it not stopping and so you start thinking whats life?
It may seem that there are many different reasons for people to try to commit suicide. In my opinion though the reason is the same for them all. Their mental state is such that it allows them to overcome the instinct for survival. It is only then that suicide becomes an option. As long as the instinct for survival is stronger, the option of self termination is not considered." I agree with the views of these people and i think they are absolutely correct! What do you think about this topic .. Do you agree with these views along with mines??????

Racism !!

From research it can be concluded that Racism is when treating someone differently or unfairly simply because they belong to a different culture, religion or race. People can also experience prejudice because of their religion or nationality. "EVERYONE" should be treated "EQUALLY". "It is illegal to be treat people differently or unfairly because of their race and no one has the right to make you feel bad or abuse you."
Have a look at this,it is from the following webiste: http://www.edu.pe.ca/birchwood/power/caleb.htm
Have a look at this video of Racism: http://videos.howstuffworks.com/tlc/29813-understanding-racism-video.htm
"Racism is wrong, what's on the inside that's what really matters. You could be cool and also be a fool. A person's colour, religion doesn't matter. It's their opinions, their feelings, their needs that really matter. When you look around all you see is different clothes, different styles different everything! We need to learn how to live together as a family."
By Caleb. Racism is socially unacceptable and shouldnt take place under any circumstances.

Messing with the LAW .. Sex Under Age!! 13 Year Old Alfie Patten!!

In the picture above we could see that a young kid Alfie Patten, as young as thirteen years old has had sex under age and has become a dad and looks quite tensed. Having sex under age is absolutely wrong and very dangerous to health. Take this little boy for example, how is he meant to cope with a baby when he is a kid himself. He has no clue of his responsibilitie's, he doesn't even know how much nappies cost as quoted from the sun "BOY dad Alfie Patten yesterday admitted he does not know how much nappies cost - but said: "I think it's a lot."
How would he be able to be a good, caring father???!! Research states: "In England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales we have to be 16 or older to have homosexual (gay) or heterosexual (straight) sex." Just because a person has blown out sixteen candles on their birthday cake, it certainly does not mean they are ready for sex. Do what feels right for you. Just make sure you understand what sex is about and get clued-up on safe sex and contraception before you do anything. Having sex at an early-age not only causes stress to guardians but the children themselves as they do not have a clue of what they need to do next! I think parents are to blame for this sort of behaviour, because of them being irresponsible kids end up in chaos!
Have a look at this website, very good information. http://www.bbc.co.uk/switch/surgery/advice/sex_relationships/sex/age_of_consent/ http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article2233878.ece

Vandalism ...

Vandalism is seen as ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR.People who dirty a persons property make them feel very angry because others are deliberately upsetting them also if there is a lot of anti-social behaviour in an area, people no longer want to live there. From research "If people lose pride in the area they live in, the are can become run down and this can attract more bad behaviour,It makes people feel unhappy about their lives because people are always upsetting them."
People get very fed up and end up leaving thier area just because of immature behaviour. Why should Government send people out there to clean other peoples mess when it will appear there again??!! I see it as timewaste. I think further action needs to be taken in order to stop this kind of discraceful behaviour! Many people call it Art, however, there is a huge difference between the two and can easily be spotted!

Attitude Problems .. My My !!

However, i think this kind of behaviour is appauling and immature. I think the way a person is brought up has a very big impact on an individuals attitude, especially if someone in thier house talks rudely maybe they pick it up from them and therefore may well be influenced. Research shows that many parents assume that attitude is not something that develops until the preadolescent or teen years. But times have changed, and any parent paying attention now realizes that even a four-year-old can have all the full-blown symptoms of a bad attitude. However, parents need to be spending more time with their children and telling them the right and wrong!
Research shows "Kids can make us miserable they back talk, manipulative, bossy, and even defiant ways let us know in no uncertain terms that these little critters are on the road to poor character and a lack of moral intelligence – not to mention the damage their attitude can do to your family harmony.!" I think parenting plays a big part as to a childs "attitude". Should attiude be accepted and ignored??! Or dealt with??!

Bullying .. DO NOT Suffer in SILENCE !!

When i was at primary school i used get bullied, i was constantly name called and called a "loner",because i was a little slow everyone used to call me "dumb". I used to get physically abused and i remember i stopped eating for a couple of days, i was scared to go to school because i was worried about what i will have to go through.
From childhood experience bullying can be life-threatening and one thing i have learnt is not to suffer in silence. Now i used to keep this to myself i was frightened that if i had told anyone i would get hurt from bullies. However, my mum noticed one morning that i'd skipped breakfast and lunch so she did further investigation and so she found out. Why should someone stop going to school, ruin their education just because of a bully?? why should an individual suffer in silence??? Tell someone about it and get it sorted, the sooner the better!
From research it has been said that bullying "could bring a person's self-esteem down, it could lead to suicide, and the person who is being bullied have too much pressure on them".
Have a look at this website it has a brilliant video on bullying, indeed very interesting! http://www.childline.org.uk/Explore/Bullying/Pages/Bullying.aspx
