After the lecture on "shoplifting" i learnt a lot from it. From the video we seen it was "hillarious" and extremely "shocking" because of how people STEAL.
Personally stealing for me is VERY BAD and i cannot bare to see people steal regardless of what their escuse or reaseon is.
Many individuals want to see if they can get away with it. Some use the excuses, "This is a big store, they can afford it," "I don't have enough money," or "Stores just write it off as a business expense." Many teens shoplift on a dare, thinking their friends will call them "chicken" if they don't go along with the dare. Other teens are just looking for excitement and is done for fun.
I am altogether against on this issue. I understand that certain age groups steal because they do not have enough money and are in desperate need for example old people. A couple of weeks back i seen an old woman stealing bread and she got caught and i felt so bad for her. As i knew she was doing this for a reason. However, she was humilated in front of all staff and customers and people wouldnt stop glaring at her!
This is the reason why i am against shoplifting. Firstly people get humilated, secondlky youre cheating with yourself and thirdly you make yourself seen as very bad like the old "woman."
