I found the lecture on Lying indeed very interesting! I personally think lying can be bad depending on the situation or circumstances an individual is in. Lying is a very common issue almost everywhere in the world.
I just want to know why lying is sen as "very bad", i mean there is some lies that help for example if you were to hide people that are in danger wouldnt you have to lie that you dont know were they are or is it even this is considerd as "lying".
I think people "over-react" and think to the extreme when people lie. Like i said earlier depending on the situation lying can be good and bad. However,i think it gets serious when you come to a point in which lying causes you to deceit someone. What happens when you lie too much ???
Nobody will believe you when you tell the truth and you will be tagged as a "liar" and people will never know if what you say can be true.
Then again, we have to consider the fact that we all are humans no-one of us are exactly PERFECT so lying once or twice wont harm. But if we do this repeatedly it can be a problem to others and yourself!!
One thing to note,people who find it hard to "trust" people would be extremely concerned whether to trust you again or not. I mean i personally am one of these people who find it difficult to trust people. If someone lies to me depending how serious it is and what the lie is about,i will definately not trust this person again.I have been defeated by one of my best friends at school which is why i have to be very careful as to who i trust!
Is lying goog or bad .. after reading my blog and my views what do you people think???!
